Summary

When we first came across Hampstead, we found a 12-year dream in the making. The founder of Hampstead has always been passionate about bakery and pastry, and he takes with him a memory of Hampstead Heath, a part of London that is rich in greenery, history and culture.

Hampstead is about bringing a countryside feel to a café in Downtown Dubai, serving heartwarming breakfasts, fresh daily baked breads, and desserts.

Solution

Bringing an area-based concept means we must know the area well before putting pen to paper, so we took a ton of virtual tours to see and read what Hampstead is like. The area is filled with classic storefronts and what struck us the most was how the storefronts often used stickers on their glass windows to display their brand name and other information.

So we adapted the style to bring out the Hampstead Heath feel to the brand, along with the iconic British Racing Green color to support the brand. To put the cherry on top, we found out that John Keats — a well known poet — used to live in Hampstead Heath, and is an icon of the city, so it makes perfect sense to top the brand with some poetic verses taken from his works, which further strengthens the brand’s personality.
